My city is asking voters to approve a tax increase. I went to their website to look at the most recent budget, and it is from 2021.
I also went in person to one of the facilities they are proposing to tear down and replace with the money. It is in similar condition to my church: aging but adequate, and in some respects charming. The replacement is ugly, and hideously expensive.

The Minnesota Supreme Court has ordered Hennepin County, Minneapolis' county, to take Republican absentee ballot election judges from the MN GOP's list. Hennepin County only has one Republican election judge, and they improperly skipped over the entire GOP list to take on that person.
This ruling comes at the very end of absentee voting. One-third of Hennepin County has already voted, which is probably going to be more like half of the total ballots cast from the county since not everyone will vote.
The court declined to order that the absentee ballot election judges be balanced between Democrats and Republicans, which is required for in-person voting and for absentee signature verifications.

Highlights include Kamala Harris' tweet promoting the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which at this point has actual blood on its hands; audio from Gov. Walz's COVID restrictions snitch line; and a post comparing Walz's COVID restrictions on churches and bars: the Cathedral of Saint Paul was restricted to 10 non-singing worshippers, while a bar with seating for 37 was allowed to have 50 patrons. That's 0.33% capacity, versus 135% capacity.
